God! God! and God!

This is a reply to a mail which says that there is lot of destruction happening on earth. And so it concludes that there is no "God".

There are some misconceptions/wrong notions about God for all us:

(1) God is human or atlesat looks like a human.
I wonder how and why God should take this human form?. I think, if there is SOMETHING called 'God', IT might not have any form otherwise IT cannt spread throughout the universe[because they say that GOD is everywhere].

(2) God is male.
Its absolutely ridiculouos that God has a gender. How could I imagine that God reproduces and begets Gods?.

(3) God is there ready to help you or save you.
We have billions of species on Earth and among them 'humanbeing' is just one species and there are billions of humanbeings. We speak like "why God has no mercy on me/us/them/this/that?". I wanted to ask you "Why God should be concerened about one among the billions and billions of living things on earth". And one more thing, it is highly possible that if GOD helps some person/group/species, then it is highly possible that it would have a bad effect on another person/group/species, then this GOD should have some preference? and to whom ? President of US/Prime Minister of India/Australia/humanbeings/birds/animals.. what?. If GOD is partial/prejudiced, its better not to call that as "GOD".

Some how the life on earth has started. I cannt comment on that. I will tell you a very weak analogy, may be this is wrong. But I dont find a better analogy to describe this world.

This world is like a nuclear reaction. You just initiate a nuclear reaction by sending a small neutron or something like that. then It becomes big, it could collide with another atom, it could stop dead at some point. Although I have started this nuclear reaction, I have no control to decide the fate of a particular neutron/atom. But at any point of time, I have a control to stop the reaction (?), increase/decrease its rate. So, I [humanbeing] am the creator (in other words, GOD) for this nuclear reaction, I have no control to decide the fate of a particular neutron/atom. Similarly, the creator of this universe has no control to decide the fate of a particular person/thing. But probably from time to time IT could introduce new species, somethings that are never experienced before (we call them as 'miracles').

For me "GOD" is nature. And the property of nature is "to create possibilities", different kinds of possibilites, different species, and different types of natures in different things of same species. "GOD" becomes a very abstract term to use. Because you cannt see this so called "GOD". You could never prove that whether IT is present or not and the believe of GOD is subjective. It varies from religion to religion and from person to person. But that shouldnt be the way. And because of this abstractness, lot of odd things are happening in day-to-day life in the name of "GOD". Somebody kills a particular religion people and say that his "GOD" has said to eliminate this particular creed/religion people. It is true, it is happening from long time and it is still happening. Eventhough, we boast ourselves as "technologically advanced".

I dont know the origin of this concept of "GOD". But this concept is used by lot of SELFISH people for destruction and domination. Some people claim that they are the CHOSEN people by GOD and try to dominate others. This applies all religions/nations/groups. Some people try to dominate the whole world, some people try to dominate a particular gender, some try to dominate a particular sect and people found infinite number of ways to dominate others in the name of "GOD". Admittedly, there are people like Mother theresa, who spread there love and affection in the name of "GOD". But if you look into history, a lot of atrocities are committed in the name of "GOD".

I here summarise, that the very concept of "GOD" that we have is flawed and the possibility of "GOD" protecting a particular "things" is absolutely ridiculous. I am not concluding that "GOD" is present or absent. It really doesnt matter ,in my day-to-day life, whether there is "GOD" or not. But what matters the most in this 21st century is peace. And if the religion or the concept of "GOD" is creating problems, better avoid believing them.
Probably, man should learn a lot from animals. They live in groups and protect themselves. "Humanbeing" being more intelligent than these animals, should not only protect themselves butalso the other lower forms of living beings. Its a kinda moral responsibility. It would be absolutely ridiculous to destroy ourselves, that to in the name of "GOD" and finally, arguing whether there is a GOD or not.
